Installing Windows 8.1 on Hyper-V Step by Step:

Open start and type hyper-v:

 Open Hyper-V and select new virtual machine:

 Select next:

Type in Windows 8.1:

 Make sure it is selected at generation 1:

 Type in 2048 that is sufficient for the stability of windows 8.1:

 Keep at not connected or select a switch igf you created a virtual switch before:

 Select next:

 Select the ISO file from your PC or select the CD installation disk:

 Select next:

 Select windows 8.1:

 Select the green button on top to start the virtual machine:

 The installation files will start to copy:

 The windows 8.1 installation media will start select install now:

 The files will then begin to copy and the windows 8.1 will now be installed on your virtual machine:

This will help you install windows 8.1 that will work exactly like windows 8.1 on a normal system but with a small deference.
